My wife and I took a trip to the southwest by automobile. I forgot how beautiful this great country is since it has been 5 years since I drove to California from Ohio. We retraced the road route 66 which is an historical road in its own right. You could see the road on the side of the freeway, although not traveled as a main traffic source today, it is a reminder of the past and the history of the United States.
